Here Comes Gina is a weekly newsletter for women who want to feel less dead inside.
Through honest and heartwarming stories sprinkled with profanity, Here Comes Gina encourages a community of smart women to feel good, laugh and expand their hearts and minds.
The newsletter touches on topics like identity, self-love, creativity, loungewear and entertainment media. Each week, HCG offers readers a source of brightness, comfort and inspiration while highlighting the greatness of all women.
I created this newsletter because writing it each week brings me intense joy. I hope it brings you joy, too!
Hugs, Gina

A Brief History of HCG
In 2009, I was a miserable law firm associate when I started a blog named Here Comes Gina. I wrote mostly about fashion and beauty plus books, travel and my disgust of a local Dairy Queen that refused to stock chocolate ice cream for an entire summer.
I loved it.
I escaped the law firm for an in-house lawyer job and allowed Here Comes Gina to become dormant. For about a decade, I suffocated my personal dreams with lawyering, busyness, anxiety, overspending and refined sugar (plus I had two children within that decade). I was angry, resentful and bitter when I thought about the website that went untouched — and the life I wished I was living.
But over all those years, a tiny little fire in my heart refused to go out. I kept paying for the HCG domain name. I let myself daydream about what I could do with the site. I joined an incredible coaching program. I started taking baby steps.
I began to feel less dead inside.
I finally reignited my dream when I relaunched Here Comes Gina in late 2020 as a weekly newsletter with two promises to readers: (1) I will do my best to show up in your inbox every Thursday with something to bring fun, connection and laughter to your life and (2) I will never lie to you.
I am thrilled that I am now in recovery from 13 years of working as a corporate lawyer. I live in suburban Philadelphia with my spouse, Joe, and our two children, each of whom I love very much.
